Horrible Place! Rating scale doesn't go low enough to rate this house of horrors! I was forced to give it one star or I couldn't post! What a shame!
My dad was there for 2 weeks,he would spend a little time working out in the morning and then off to bed they sent him,all day everyday they gave him sleeping medicine to knock him out,he was better BEFORE he went there, at least he could've walk,now,can barely lift a toothbrush.all this place is is a glorified hospice
It's hard to believe all the negative reviews I am reading. My husband has been here since May 16, and this place is fabulous. No one can make them do their there therapy. My husband had a brain tumor removed , and when we got here he could not move anything on his left side at all. In 6 therapy treatments my husband is now learning to walk again, and is getting use of his left side back. This place is absolutely AWESOME!!!! Like I said, the patients have to work the therapy. No one can give you sleeping pills unless it's doctors orders.
Will never have a loved one at this place. Terrible experience.

I would personally like to thank the staff (receptionist, nurses, doctors, therapists, dieticians, and case manager) at HealthSouth for their care for my grandmother. My grandmother had a stroke and received rehabilitation at HealthSouth for three weeks. During the course of her stay, I could tell the staff and doctors really wanted what was best for her. They immediately focused on what steps were necessary for the improvement of her health. The entire staff was friendly and made sure she was well taken care of. I would specifically like to thank Greg and Patrick, her physical/occupational therapists. They were patient and encouraged her that she could walk and use her left arm again. Words cannot express how grateful we are. My grandmother wanted me to let you all know that she is better today because of her experience at HealthSouth. She especially appreciates you all taking her outside lol. So from our family, we say THANK YOU! We will continue to recommend your facility as the BEST in the area.
